Has any of you Fowlers thought about doing DNA on the Fowler family? My mother was a Fowler and I am trying to get a male Fowler cousin to test. We have done that on many surnames and found much info that way. I did it on my Payne line and we got lots of good results. For that very obvious reason, you would be most welcome to participate in the FOWLER Y-chromosome DNA Surname Project! Please use this link to join: http://www.familytreedna.com/surname_join.asp?code=L75073 I've had several people query me about the project, but no one has made the plunge. You are correct that getting the first person to join is the toughest. Rather like the "first penguin off the ice" phenomenon. There are no sharks in the water, really... Diana David S.
