Hi there, I am looking for family of Thomas Fowler who married Mary Hoskins 1740 in Uplyme, Devon. Son Daniel married Elizabeth Carter in 1756 in Uplyme. Zada F. BRYANT MARION (SC) - Zada FOWLER BRYANT died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at the Marion County Medical Center. She was born in Orangeburg (SC), a daughter of the late Eugene Bass and Janie ROBISON FOWLER. She was a schoolteacher who taught about 50 years in the public school system. She was a member of various book clubs, bridge clubs and garden clubs, and was a member of Winthrop Daughters. She was also an active member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Diana B. JOHNSON of Spartanburg (SC); a niece, Dallas FAIREY JONES of Anderson (SC); two nephews, Dr. Watt McCAIN of Greenville (SC), and Edison FAIREY of Orangeburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm M. BRYANT, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. BRYANT, both of Murrells Inlet (SC). Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at Richardson Funeral Home of Marion. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 20, 1999) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 155, Marion 29571.

She was the widow of Willie Velton FOWLER Sr. Survivors include two sons, Willie Velton FOWLER Jr. of Tabor City, and Chris FOWLER of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Pearl Jernigan of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday (Oct 13) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Zoan Cemetery in Loris (SC).

BOZEMAN of Tabor City, N.C., and Buck BOZEMAN of Dade City, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct 10) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carolina Cemetery in Green Sea.

Her parents were James and Susan GAULT FOWLER., both of whom had died before their daughter married James Franklin McCLESKEY.", page 91 The McCleskey Family in Georgia. on page 94 of same: "James Franklin and Sallie FOWLER MCCLESKEY had their three children with them as they traveled to Arkansas....Going to Arkansas at the same time were: (1) Ervin J. FOWLER, a brother of Sallie F.MCCLESKEY, with his wife and two chilren...."(They are unnamed.) ...For almost eighteen years James F. MCCLESKEY lived in Yell County, Arkansas, with his family. Several of his children married in those years.In 1897, James F. MCCLESKEY, his wife and their two youngest sons moved into the Indian Territory-now Oklahoma. After a year, they returned to Arkansas. They located in Union County, Arkansas, just north of the Louisiana state line, in the Shuler Community near El Dorado. In 1910, James Franklin and Sallie FOWLER MCCLESKEY observed fifty years of marriage. On September 8, 1913, James Franlkin MCCLESKEY died near El Dorado. He was buried at the Fredonia Cemetery nearby. On May 1, 1925, Sallie FOWLER McCLESKEY died. She, too, was buried at Fredonia." My question, does anyone have information about Sallie FOWLER'S brother, Ervin FOWLER? The book that I have cited has these FOWLER names in the index.
