Posted on: Fowler Family Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/Fowler?read=211 Surname: Ingersoll, Barton, Fowler, Quackenbush, Quigley, van Houton, Lawson ------------------------- I am researching a Barton family from New York. Family Bible records show Jane Barton, b. Feb. 16, 1813, d. Oct. 22, 1835. Her death date lists her as Jane Fowler. Her family hails from Orange County, New York. Many of the Barton family are buried at Cold Spring, NY, as are direct relatives of mine, the Mullens, one of whom married one of Jane's sisters, possibly Prudence Barton. The Fowler name was a disconnected piece of information for us until a Mullen cousin of ours passed on Bible records which showed a Jane Fowler. Other Surnames which I have no connection for are listed above. Jane Barton was the daughter of Elijah Barton and Sarah Ingersoll.
I am curious to know if the John Fowler, son of Joseph Fowler (new to me) who married two Elizabeth's is the same as my John Fowler born about 1768, died about 1847 married Elizabeth, born about 1778. Fowler b. Jul 10, 1803 married Nov 30, 1837 Sarah H. Adams, d. Sep 15, 1870 Thomas b. 1807 d. Mar 31, 1865 John Anthony Fowler b. May 10, 1810 Married Sep 4, 1832 Catherine Kesler, d. Sep 30, 1854 Susan b. Apr 19, 1820, married Apr 12, 1843 David Cromer, d. Sep 23, 1898 Lucey Fowler b. Jul 4, 1820, married Dec 21, 1848 James L. Carey, d.
