In 1850 there were over 50 Joiner individuals living there. The only one born in 1880 was May Joiner: Crittenden Crossroads Beat No. 4, Township 1, Range 8, Lauderdale Co. AL Joiner, Andrew, white male 28 farmer AL AL TN Joiner, Adaline, white female 29 wife AL AL TN Joiner, Benjamin white male 7 son AL AL TN Joiner, Mittie white female 5 dau AL AL TN Joiner, Emily, white female 3 dau AL AL TN Joiner, May, white female 2/12, dau AL AL AL -- so if you great grandmother Delphia's middle name was May -- you have found her. It looks like Andrew and Adaline were in Hopkins County TX by 1920. Also, the Joiners of Florence (Lauderdale County, AL) have a rich history: http://www.alamhof.org/jamesjoiner.html As far as Fousts in the 1800s in Lauderdale County, AL -- your line arrived there in the mid to late 1840s, based on the dates/locations of the birth's of your GGG grandfather David's children (which includes your GG grandfather Wlliam M.
