This is the one with the fist, I have always believed this one to be our Coat of Arms. Based upon descriptions in different books and histories. I have seen that other Coat of Arms you are describing, but only from a printed version being offered at the mall, with some Faust history, which was not accurate. Also, Faust in German means Fist. My copy is lacking some color. I will attempt to attach a photo of the Coat of Arms here, if it fails, here is my email address davidfaust@prodigy.net, if you send me a email I will send it over to you. Below, is the old French description of the Faust Coat of Arms and the English Translation. Heraldic Blazon of the Coat of Arms of the Faust Family Escutcheon : D'azur a une main sen de carn appaumee le points ferme' Cimer: Un aigle de sa Lambrequin: D'arg et d'asur English Translation Shield: Blue, a hand of natural color, palm showing, the fingers closed. Crest: A Black Eagle. Mantling: Silver and Blue. Goodluck. David Faust. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
