Foust from Talladega, AL? I have found numerous Foust families in both Blount County, AL and Cullman County, AL; however, none in Talladega. Due to the proximity, there is probably a connection. I am sure that the Samuel M. Foust I am looking for is NOT the Samuel M. Foust frequently listed in Blount County. My Samuel M. Foust was born 27 June 1880 in Talladega and died 15 Dec 1945 in Atlanta, GA. He married Margaret Cummings from Missouri prior to Jan 1911. Samuel spent most of his life working in the Canal Zone and there are numerous (probably 20) ship's manifests showing passage between the Canal Zone and New York or New Orleans between 1911 and about 1940. Samuel and Margaret had no children so of course there are no direct descendants, however, I would like to know who Samuel's parents were.
