Foust - Banner-Graphic - 2003 J. Donald Foust, 87, Lebanon, died Sunday morning at the Crown Point Senior Citizen Center. Born Oct. 16, 1914 in Plainfield, he was the son of William Charles and Flora (Hastings) Foust. On April 7, 1940 in Huntingburg, he married Helen Hasler, and she survives. A 1932 Plainfield High School graduate, he farmed all his adult life in Daviess and Montgomery counties before He was manager of the store room at Wabash College for four years. He was a member of Dover Christian Church and past master of Plainville Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Wayne Foust, Greencastle; two daughters, Donna Adams and husband Wayne, Lebanon, and Ann Miller and husband Larry, Indianapolis; two sisters, Marguerite Crews, Lewisburg, Pa., and Shirly Raysdale, West Lafayette; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dozer Christian Church, where the body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Harlan Cemetery in Hancock County at 4 p.m Wednesday. Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Lebanon.
