The picture is dated 1910. There is an address sticker on the back with a bakersfield, CA address on it but the picture was found in Casa Grande, AZ. I would like for a member of the family to have it. Since I work on my families genealogy, I couldn't imagine someone tossing away a family picture like this. The picture was not taken out of the frame when I scanned it but it is very clear. If you are a family memeber and would like the picture please contact me. George W. FAUST, b. 8 Jun 1853 in PA, states on the birth record of his daughter on 12 Feb 1875 that he was born in Muncy, PA. The record of his second marriage in 1904 states that his father was George W. Sr. and that his mother's surname was REID or REED. Since George W. FAUST was living at the time that both documents were created, and he presumably could have been the informant on both documents, it seems likely that all the information is correct. The problem is that I can find no records of this family in the 1860 census, nor can I trace a marriage between a George W. FAUST and anyone named REED or REID. The closest possibility for an 1860 census for George W. Faust b. 1853 seems to be a Georg FOUST, age 9, adopted, and living with a William L. and Mary H. BUSH in Sullivan County, PA, which is a neighboring county to Lycoming. My George Jr. married Katherine SHEETS in 1873 in presumably Montour County, PA; they moved to Baltimore, MD by 1875, and then to Indianapolis, IN. Does anyone recognize this family?
