Does anyone have more information on this Pennsylvania Foust family? 1800 Census: John Foust – Mahoning Township, Northumberland County, PA; aged 26-44 1820 Census: John Foust Sr. - Hemlock Township, Columbia County, PA; Aged 45 or over John Foust Jr. – same township, aged 16 to 26. 1830 Census John Foust – Hemlock Township, Columbia County, PA; aged 70 to 80 Where was John Foust, Sr. in the 1790 Census? Does anyone know who the parents were of John Foust, Sr.? Does he fit into one of the Foust families from Berks County, PA? Does anyone know more about the family of John Foust, Jr.? I've been told by another researcher that the will of William Cox (1822 Columbia County) listed his daughter, Rebecca, as married to John Foust. I'm descended from John & Rebecca Foust who moved to Mifflin County, PA by 1830. I'm trying to find out if they could have moved from Columbia County and whether this could be their family. Are you familiar with Dr. Howard Faust's book of Foust genealogy or with Faust/Foust Family Forum newsletters printed in the '90s by Don Foust? The info I have is from those two sources. I also show he was born in 1812. He married Sarah Hardman and she died April 17, 1889 in Van Wert County. In an old newspaper clipping it states Job departed this life on March 4th, aged 82 years, 1 month and 4 days. His remains are laid to rest in Taylor Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio. I am trying to find information about his father Jacob, Jr. who was born in Berk Co., Pa on Jan 20, 1787. I would appreciate any help.
