Hi. I am researching my husbands family. His great great grandfather was Kale Barker. I can’t find any information about his parents or siblings. Have you any information about him? Thank you, Angela Henley Sent from my iPhone
Who are you looking for? Is that Crawford county Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania? > On Jan 4, 2018, at 2:51 PM, RootsWeb Gateway Notification <rootswebgateway@ancestry.com> wrote: > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to FOUST-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
I have the book, "Faust/Foust Family in America and Germany", by Dr. Howard M Faust, but it is not easy to look up a name because it has no index. If you know John's FAUST/FOUST ancestors, I might be able to find them and trace the line down to him. John Faust, born 1800 in Berks County, PA, d. 1844 in Snydersville, Lehigh County, PA (son of Jacob Faust b. 1778 and Maria Clara Grim/Graf) I'd like to find out who it lists as spouse and children and any other details. I believe he married Amanda Pate in 1836 after her first husband Jacob Foust died. You mention an "estate settlement" for Jacob. Do you know the specifics? I found the marriage record for Amanda and William Mynatt. I'm interested in determining the names of the three minor children that William took guardianship of in 1841 - do you have a copy of that court record? Does it actually name the three children - as John Leroy, Wiley C. and Nancy Jane? You also mentioned that when Amanda died, her will left everything to her two sons - John Leroy and Wiley C. Foust. There seems to be controversy on whether these boys were sons of Jacob Foust and Amanda or John Foust and his wife Mariah Pate. Has anyone seen any of these records and can put the children's names with the correct parents? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
