It goes back centuries and is documented. I can not find the link between our John (Jean) Jacob Forsyth who settled in Maryland and the European branch. I am willing to share my information to anyone who can give me documented proof of a connection. John lived 1714-1811. He came to America at an unknown date. Some people say his father was Charles Edouard and his mother was Catherine. I have not found any documentation to support this. Again, I am willing to share my documentation to anyone who can help.
