There are Georges in Fife and Aberdeen certainly at about this date. Good Luck! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. FORSYTH, son of John & Jane Osborn FORSYTH of St. John, New Brunswick. He was born 26 Feb 1835 in Ireland, married Seraphina BAKER of Wilmot, N.S., 19 July 1858. I believe they lived in Margaretsville until Seraphina's death, 6 April 1867. I find Wm. living with his mother Jane & brother James Osborn in St. John, N.B. in 1871. I'm particularly looking for info on the children of Wm. & Seraphina. I know of baby Seraphina, born 26 Feb, 1867. I believe there are 2 sons as well, 1 born in 1863 and the other I think born before then. I would be most grateful for anything you can add, Thanks, Lisa Forsythe-Kane Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My tree leads back through William Forsythe who was born in Scotland (no details about 1832). I wonder if he could be James' bother? Not sure when came over but I have children (Mary J 1853, William 1854 (my line as best I can tell) Alexander 1857, Elizabeth 1859, Isabella 1860, and Margaret 1862) all born in NYC. My William who came over married an Irish girl named Jane (no maiden name as of yet) who was born about the same time as William (about 1830). Think there might be a connection? Thanks for the help.
