Zadock married ca. 1772, Cassandra Trail born ca. 1772 in ME.; d. 31 Oct. 1831, Spartenburg Co., SC. No further data on her. Their children were all born in Spartanburg Co., SC.: 1. Rachel b. 18 Sep 1773; d. 5 May 1847, Spartanburg Co. SC.; m. 13 Jan 1791, John Westmoreland, son of Robert and Nancy (___) Westmoreland; 8 children. 2. Westwood b. ca 1774; m. Catherine ____? 3. James b. ca 1777. 4. Zadock b. ca 1779; m.in 1788, Casander Chew who was named as a minor in her father's will in 1789. He was John Drury Chew, a soldier; unknown mother. They had at least 1 son: i. Zadock b. 7 Mar 1817, Spartanburg Co., SC.; d. 23 Jun 1851, Franklin Co., GA.; buried in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Heard Co., GA.; m. Permilla Ann Reid. They had 1 unknown daughter. ii. 9 other unknown children. 5. John Samuel b. ca 1781; d. ca 1840, Gwinnett Co., GA.; m. bef 1817, Sarah J Johnson; 10 children. 6. Cassandra b. ca 1783; m. Craddock Dickie. 7. Nancy b. ca 1785; d. 3 Sep 1825; m. Absolem Smith. 8. William b. ca 1791. Another Zadock Ford born 3 Dec 1806, KY.; d. 14 Jan 1865; unknown parents. He m. 1 Sep 1824 in TN., Margaret Kendle. They had 12 children--and of course, the 12th child was named Zadock, b. 26 Mar 1852 in AR.; d. 7 Dec 1872.
