Hi Joan, All I know for sure is Lawson Ford I have is on census after census as Lawson Ford born about 1795 in NC and he died about 1888. I have most of his family stat's and his wife's grave and all his children. He was in Lincoln Co, NC which became Gaston Co about 1850 and he was here his whole life. I have never seen the George in front of his name but that doesn't mean its no the same one. Do you have any of his children? I have never been for sure who his father was but I have a number of candidates. Do you think we have a possible match? I would be so happy to know, what is your source for George Lawson Ford birth and parents? IM SO happy to hear more. Todd
