I am still searching the link between Amelia Co., VA Fords who came down to Lincoln and Gaston Co NC around 1790. Lawson Ford 1795 to 1880 is my brick wall but I have done much research from Lawson forward. Please contact me with any info on these Ford's. Todd

Todd, I have a Lawson Ford , son of George Ford born Abt. 1780 in Virginia, and Peggy Aken born about 1780 and they were married 1805 in Rockbridge Co. Virginia. Son George Lawson Ford born Abt. 1795 No. Carolina and died Abt. 1888. I have more on this family if this is right family.
