Looking for information on the Ford family of Henrico County, Virginia. I have Dolly Ford, wife of Thomas Franklin. From "Marriage Bonds of Henrico County, 1782-1853" we find Thomas Franklin to Dolley Ford, Samuel Ford, surety, 29 July 1794. My wife is a probably descendant of this line, through their daughter, Julia Ann Franklin, wife of William W. Sledd. How is Samuel Ford related to Dolly? Father? Brother? Cousin?
