William Ford was born on May 20, 1799 in VA. The first reference that we find to William Ford is with a deed recorded in 1827 in Clark County Kentucky. The following year William married Malinda Judy. They had the following children: Jennie, Dave, Frank, Will, Jim, Martin Van Buren, Tom and finally Dock (Alexander). William died January 21, 1845 in Clark Co., Kentucky, probably in a mill accident and was buried at Sugar Ridge Presbyterian Church.
