It says this: "Misses Beulah and Bertha Ford were entertained at a surprise birthday party at their home in Woodland Heights on the evening of October 28. The guests included Miss Bertha Hewlett, Miss Cecilia Collier, Miss Mary Wilkinson, Miss Louise Bacon, Miss Adele Elliott, Kathryn Rudd, Constance Hall, Dorothy Hall, Marguerite Edwards, Frances Henderson, Elizabeth Henderson, Elizabeth Mann, Mildred Lowman, Louise Trice, Virginia Summers, Dorothy Martin, Alie Hubard, Nancy Chisholm, Josephine Mallory, Eddie Wilkinson, Cecil Collier, Ted Boothe, Freddie Kahwajy, Vernon Grubbs, Franklin Murdoch, George Johnson, Bob Rether, Russell Savory, Kenneth Adams, Bernard Clay, Bruce Dodd, Horace Phillips, Vann Motley, Leo Vaughan, Rufus Warren, Jake Foster, Burruss Edwards, Charlie Kahl, Leitner Vest and Walter Harris. Please note that Beulah and Bertha were not related to most of the Fords in the Richmond and Chesterfield County area; their Ford grandparents immigrated from Cornwall, England, about 1871.
