What I know: Martin (b. Ireland) married Mary Cavanaugh (b. Ireland abt 1823). They had a son Timothy D. Ford (b. abt 1839, Ireland). Based on immigration records I believe Timothy immigrated to the US 07 Sep 1853, and if correct he came with his mother Mary and siblings Daniel (b. abt 1843) and Mary (b. about 1848). I've found Timothy and his wife Ann (Cohen) in the 1870 census and 1880 census (Suffolk County, Mass.). I would like to find out anything possible about Martin Ford and his wife Mary. Which part of Ireland they were from, ancestry, etc. Why wasn't Martin with the rest of the family when they came to the US? I'd also like any information on their grandchildren Mary and Daniel if I have that part right. I have info on Timothy's descendents in the US if anybody would like it. Dan Ford [email protected]
