Jacob Ford was born in Germany in about 1765 (not quite certain) and died after 1843 in Monroe Township Township, Bedford County, PA. The exciting part of your information is that Jacob had sons named Isaac and Barnett or Barney Ford. Barney was born about 1800 in Bedford County, PA. He also had a daughter named Hannah. I know family names perpetuate so your information is a marvelous clue and well worth looking into. Do you know if your ancestor Barnabus Ford was a cabinet maker? Jacob was a cabinet maker. I know sons tended to appretince with their fathers and continued their trade.
