    3. Hi Jason, I'm certain we're cousins for sure. I'm descended from Dorrel Ford, who settled in that area in 1837. You mentioned that your descent is through Sarah Ford, and I'm assuming you're referring to Sarah who was Dorrel's sister. She married first William Arledge in Fairfield County SC. He died in 1821, and she remarried, this time to Frederick Bailey in the same county. They moved to Alabama, then to Mississippi, then to Florida, and finally Sarah is widowed and living back in Choctaw County AL where she lived until moving to live with her daughter in Mississippi where she died in 1863. There were other Sarahs in the family, so perhaps the one I've described isn't yours. Please contact me.
