Hello again< I just began searching for your Daniel and this is hardly proof of anything but there is someone on ancestry.com with your family. They have Daniel as James Daniel Ford married Agatha Walker. They have her parents as Elijah Walker and Elizabeth Simmons. IF all that is true it may help in the search for his parents.
