I have reached a very confusing juncture in my research of my husband's family. We are relatively certain that Phillip and Delilah (Lane) Ford are in our line. The confusion comes here: Someone in our family wrote down years ago that our line descended from Phillip and Delilah, down through a JOHN FORD who was married to Martha Jane Siddens. In my research, I only find a William as the son of Phillip and Delilah, and he was married to Mary (not Martha) Jane Siddens. But I cannot find evidence that they had a son named Joseph Shields Ford (my husband's great grandfather). I know a lot of information from Joseph Shields Ford (m Carrie Kallmeyer, lived and died in Franklin Co, MO), his children and their children. But above Joseph Shields Ford, there is a break in valid information. Can anyone help? Thanks, Barbara Ford
