The Fords to whom I was referring are from Fairfield County SC, residing there before and after the Revolution. Nathaniel Ford Sr who married Seana McCall, William Gardner Ford who married Magdalen Love, and Hezekiah Ford (some dispute over his wife's identity) were all brothers. They had two sisters, Elizabeth who married Burrell Burge and Martha Keziah who married Nicholas Peay. Their descendants spread mainly to Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Georgia. I'm a direct descendant of William Gardner Ford. Most records only show him by his middle name of Gardner.
