Me - Debbie Miller Daughter of Edward Miller and Barbara Ann Shreve (both are now deceased) Edward was son of Pearl Chester Miller and Elnora "Ella" Ford Elnora Ford was daughter of Jasper Newton Ford and Sarah C. Brown Jasper Newton Ford was son of Newton W. Ford and Elizabeth Ann (Arrendt? - not sure of spelling) Newton W. Ford was son of Adam Cloud Ford and Eliza Nelson Adam Cloud Ford was son of John Ford and Hannah Cloud And the rest you already have in your data banks....... Thanks to all who have helped me with Adam Cloud Ford's ancestors - I've filled in gaps!!!! If anyone needs info on my Fords, I have it in my records and will be glad to share! In the Cemetery List for Dovel Memorial Cemetery, Violet Township, Pickerington, OH I fould the following: notes in ( ) are from the transcription; my notes/questions are in italics. 1. Ford, __________, _______ of Adam C. (broken and misplaced) I'm assuming this was Eliza Ford wife of Adam Cloud Ford. But not sure. 2. Ford, Elnor (Elmer) Jane, daughter of A.C. and E; died Jan 23, 1845 aged 19y 9 m (in wrong row) 3. Ford, Hannah, wife of John, died Oct 23, 1824, aged 67y (61y) 6 m 16d 4. Ford, John, died 24 July 1830, aged 72y 3m 15d 5. Ford, Edward, son of J.B. & J.J. (L.E & L L) died Aug 27, 1867, aged 5m 23 d any ideas who this baby was? 6. Ford, James, son of P & E (R & E) died Apr 28, 183 __ (1836) aged 20d or this baby? 7. Ford, Nancy, daughter of P.A. & E (stone broken off) [daughter of R & E] died May 10, 1829 aged 1 y 7 m 13d or this little girl? 8. Ford, Nathan, son of P & E died 21 Jun 1833, aged 12 y 4 m 5d 9. Ford, Adam G [C] died Jan 19, 1861, aged 12y 4 m 5d (82 y 4m 9d) broken off could this be Adam Cloud Ford? If anyone can ID these folks - I'd appreciate it. I'm especially curious about who P & E Ford was. Next, does anyone have directions to Dovel Memorial Cemetery. I live in Columbus, but am not familiar with the Pickerington area. Most of his children migrated south to Georgia and Alabama, one went to Indiana. John Ford HAMPTON-John Edison Ford, 69, of Hampton died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Shands Starke emergency room. Born in Columbia County, Mr. Ford moved to Hampton in 1973. He retired as a correctional officer with the state of Florida. He was in New River East from 1984 through 1994 and also worked with Tacahale from 1966 through 1978. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ford is survived by: his wife Glennis Ford of Hampton; two sons, Larry Edison Ford and Eugene Lamar Ford, both of Hampton; a daughter Shellia Ford Hampton and Wendell Ford of Crescent City; two sisters, Vergie Darley and Jean Collins, both of Hampton; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents John T. and Lula Pearl Webb Ford and a sister Jacqueline Ford Dobis. Funeral services for Mr. Ford were Feb. 8, 2006 in the Chapel of Archie Tanner Funeral Home of Starke with Jim Crosely officiating. Burial followed in Siloam Cemetery in Lake City. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Ford.

    3. Thanks Agnes, I was thinking that if everyone posted information on say...double wedding ceremonies that we might be able to use that information to make connections also. I have a few in my line (which I think I've already posted but will check). Double wedding ceremonies where siblings get married on the same day sometime to siblings from another family, sometimes to different families using different ministers. How about it Ford List? Hey, if ya'll participate and it's a success we all win. If it works then next week someone else can pick out a different information topic for all to post information on. Please include all info...place, date, wit. minister, source, yada, yada....using the minister who preformed the ceremony can give clues to family religious affiliation... a Google search on the minister can lead you to the church.
