I should have been a little more specific, I'm having trouble grasping the meaning.... I understand that Blunt & Washington own land that's going to Goreing, the land (250 acres) belonged to Charles Ford who died with no will, the King still had title to 50 acres which I believe went back to the King. I kind of get lost in the chain of events following Flood. The orphans and sons-in-law are a little confusing to understand also. Deena RE: Robert & Charles Ford My main computer is down right now but I have a little information. I searched and found a file (parts from Donald Ford, I believe) - that is a descendent list from Austin Ford and includes Robert Newton Ford. If you would like this I could send it in another post as it is long (about six pages in Word) and I must remove the living generation. As I don't have access to my genealogy information the descendent list does not include any source material but could be a jumping off place to search. I have an ancestor who is related to the Ford brothers and I have found a little information on the brothers - some by Googling their names and there are also several paperback books mentioning them. With all of these FORDs keeping the internet hot, doesn't any one have a David O. FORD? He was born in Va./Wva abt 1807 and died in Indiana in 1872. He married Cathrine BORDERS in Ky in 1828.
