FORD 84, formerly of Charlotte Villa, died Thursday (July 7, 1983) in Fenton Park Nursing Home, where he had been a patient since March 9. He was born Dec. 1, 1898, in Franklin, PA, the son of David & Rose REYNOLDS FORD. FORD had been an employee of Randolph Furniture Co. for 15 years, & later was on the maintenance crew at WCA Hospital, retiring in 1965. Surviving are his wife, Leona N. FORD, resident of Johnson Rest Home in Arkwright; 2 daughters, Marilyn ANDERSON of Towerville & Kathyn FARQUARSON of Altoona, IA; 9 grandchildren; & 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence STERNS, & 4 brothers: Ray, Marsden, Bert & Fred FORD. The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in Jordon Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial will be in Red Bird Cemetery.

His grandparents were Mary Louetta Finch and Thomas Jefferson Ford. His father, Hershall Blake Ford was killed as a young man in a traffic accident. His aunt, Mary Jewell Ford Barnett raised him in Jackson, Mississippi. I have not seen nor heard of Tommy Ford since the mid-1970's. He would be approximately 50 years old now.
