Hezekiah's & Mary's four known children (John Stocker Ford, Alvin, Esther Ann & Harriet) all settled in Illinois -- in Boone Co., to start with, town of Belvidere. There is a book I found online that tries to trace 2 or 3 different Ford families, & it was written in the late 1800's by Hannibal Ford. I think I found it through Heritage Quest Online, which you can have access to through public & college libraries. You might try to access that Ford family history & see if you find your John & Julia & George. That's interesting that your guy moved back east! Cowen, 1840 Ireland - 1919 probably Mass. Timothy lived and worked in Boston from mid-1850s - until 1872. As a result of the Boston fire of 1872 Timothy and Ann moved from Boston to Chelsea. Children: Mary 1869 Boston - unk Frederick W. 1872 Chelsea? - unk. Frederick was my great-grandfather. She married Thomas Henry Pledger on March 02, 1815 in Elbert County, GA. They adopted at least one child, Sarah Jane, who was full blooded Cherokee just as the Trail of Tears started, and maybe more or all of Sarah's brothers and sisters.
