    3. Hello Patricia I have checked the Births Deaths & Marriages website for NSW (New South Wales), marriages 1900-1955 and deaths 1900-1975 - and found nothing for a Calvert FORD. So it looks like he went to another state. Go to http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/links/links.htm for a list of websites for those other states. Hope you find him! Best wishes Judy Dickinson Sydney NSW Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 10:06 AM Subject: [FORD] CLAVERT AUGUSTUS FORD > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: FORD > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/REX.2ACIB/3941 > > Message Board Post: > > LOOKING FOR FAMILY - CALVERT AUGUSTUS FORD. 1. [FORD] James Ford - Stewart County Tennessee 1820 Census
    2. carey rogers
    3. I am trying to locate the family of James Ford (b abt. 1788 TN d. 1861 Henry Co. TN). He was living in Stewart County before moving to Henry County about 1830. There was an older James Ford who lived in Montgomery County before Tennessee became a state. If anyone has information on any of these people I would like to share information. Any help is appreciated. A James, Thomas and John Ford are listed in Davidson County records in the 1780-90's. I don't know if these are the same ones. There are 3 Fords listed in the 1820 Stewart County Tennessee census. James, Thomas and John. James Ford is listed as 26 to 45 years of age with 3 males under 10, a female 26-45 (Susannah) and one female under 10. John Ford 26-45 years of age with 3 males under 10 and his wife, 26-45. Thomas Ford, 26-45 years old with his wife, 2 daughters and 3 sons (one 18-26). Listed in earlier militia/tax lists in Stewart County: 1808 John Ford 1809 John Ford 100 acres Capt. Burton's Company 1811 Jas Ford 25 acres, Panther Creek, Capt Acree's Company 1811 Chas Ford Capt. Ross'es Company

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/REX.2ACIB/540.1.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I am searching for the origins of my Grandfather and Grandmother. They lived in Burrton, Kansas. He died 1957 and she died in 1967. His name was Melvin Howell and her name was Bessie (Barnes) Howell. He had brothers Cary (Unknown correct spelling) Charles and Bill. Cary and Bill also lived in Burrton, Kansas in eary 30's to 40's. I am not sure of anything preceeding them but have heard they were from Indiana. Their mother may have died when they were young and the boys may have been given to Aunts and Uncles to raise. My Grandfather was posible 1/2 Indian. He looked Indian with a distinctive nose. I have heard stories his moterh was a Blackfoot Indian and possibly a Chief's daughter. Mel and Bessie are buried in the Burrton Cemetary in Burrton, Kansas. Bessie Barnes parents last names were Barnes and Jewel. I believe her mother was Viola Jewel. I have just started this trek and a lot of basic footwork to do yet. Thank you for your reply.
