I am looking for connections to any Forbes family living in Cayuga Co., NY around 1816. I have Jonathan H. Forbes b. 1816 in Cayuga Co. who moved at some point to Allegany county. He married a Phebe Dikes b. 1819 in Steuben county. I know that a Luke Forbes moved from Cayuga county to Steuben county sometime between 1830 and 1840. At this point I do not know if Jonathan is allied with him or if he moved on his own. Sue
