He was the second son of Edward Willes FORBES and his wife Clara (née HORE). Their other children were Thomas John (1887), Jessie Gertrude (1896), and George Albert Edward (1898). Teddie married sometime between 1907 and 1922, possibly to a woman called Grace MURRAY. The newspaper report of his father's funeral (1922) included a reference to Mr & Mrs Murray-Forbes. It is thought that they had a son and a daughter. Teddie was still alive in 1937, but his family lost touch with him during WWII. Any information about his family's whereabouts would be very gratefully received.
