Seeking any information concerning the origin of my great grandfather, Rufus Forbes. Born approx mid 1800's, possibly Redford or Redhook, New York area. Maybe of ?Dutch or French origin. Married Marie Louise Bourdo (born 1866) of Redford, New York and resided in Adams, MA until his death. One daughter, Rut h May Forbes born 1895. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
