Looking for information on John Forbes and family. John was born abt 1755. He was married to Abiah Ward. They had a son Anthony that was born in 1780 in New York. Anthony married Lydia VanCurler in 1803 in New York. They had (3) known children in New York Anthony, Walter and Hannah. By 1813 they had moved to Vermont of where they also had John, Elsie, Emily and Amy. In the 1840's they removed to Wisconsin. Aaron, Hannah and John R. are known to have moved with them. John 1813-1854 married Anna Nelson (1820-1903) daughter of Zopher and Theodosia Hastings Nelson. Anna's parents also relocated to Wisconsin. Thanks for any information on this family. Sue Gutche
