John, that is a good idea.... I am looking for Ephraim Forbes. born 7/10/1810 and died 3/1/1881. married Margaret Hall in PA. I pick them up in 1830 in Knox County, Oh. In the 1850 census he declares that he was born in Va., and his father was born in Pa. Rumer has it that they came down the Old Forbes Road to the National Rd. and west. I think they were from possibly Berkeley County, Va. which is now W. Va.
