Hi All Let me add to the confusion over various Fannie Forbes'. I am looking for two more of them. 1. Frances (Fanny) FORBES, born Aghaward townland, co. Longford, Ireland. Baptised Nov 11, 1832 at St. John's Church of Ireland church, Ballinalee, Clonbroney parish, co. Longford, Ireland. Daughter of Charles Forbes and Jane Heany. No further record of her in Ireland. Probably married/emigrated. 2. Frances (Fanny) FORBES, born Oct 12, 1863 at Aghaward townland, co. Longford, Ireland. Baptised Feb 7, 1864 at St. John's Church of Ireland church, Ballinalee, Clonbroney parish, co. Longford, Ireland. Daughter of Charles Forbes (son of Charles Forbes above) and Mary Scott. Attended Currycahill school, Ballinalee until age 16. According to family stories, she and her elder sister Maria FORBES emigrated to America in the 1890's, seeking their fortunes/husbands.
