John Forbes removed from Shiloh, N.C., to Contenteau Creek 1750s area of Pitt Co., N.C., then 1760s to Northeastern area of Pitt. Ann Shannon may be Arthur's wife; my impression was she was his step-mother or possibly mother. I saw the name Shannon and not Shannonhouse. Was Judith Moore or Ann Shannon the mother of Mrs. Arthur Forbes Wooten? There was a blind man who desc. Alfred Forbes and alledgedly had much info. on him; he lived near Hanrahand.
