I am fairly new to the list and had actually forgotten I'd subscribed since there haven't been any postings. My Forbes start with John J, who died in Pompey, Onodaga NY in 1844. His wife, Lydia, moved to Wisconsin, along with brother-in-law Nicolas Forbes and grown children George, Jacob, John, Thomas, Mary and Merrick Alexander around 1846-1856. I have been researching Thomas, born 4/8/1824 in New York, married to Mary Jane Colt. Children Delilah or Delina, Delos, Volney, Lidia, John, Florence, Charles.
