My earliest Forbes is John Forbes from Perthshire, Scothland. He died about 1788 in Clockville (Madison) NY. He had three sons that I know of: Nicholas I, Jacob I, and John Jr. (b. 1779) I would appreciate any information about him or other Forbes in upstate NY. Anne Abbott
