Researching ancestors of my grt grandfather Rufus Forbes (1861) also thought to be known as Raphael Forgue. He married Marie-Louise Bourdon (on Pontbriand"s Baptemes Et Sepultures 1853-1880 Redford, NY. (Bourdeau on GED of Charbonneau family webpage) and Bourdo on tombstone. Known to have lived and maybe born in New York State, ( maybe Clinton County, Plattsburg area or Seneca Lake area and emigrated to Berkshire County, MA ( Adams, North Adams.)
