Dear John Brandt I am descended from Alexander FORBES who married Christian BROWN in Flisk, Fife Scotland in 1753.This is as far back as I've been able to get although there is a Forbes, marrying in the parish who could be his father.Alexander and Christian had 9 children. Their son James, my 3x great grandfather, married Margaret PAGE in 1792 in Abdie, Fife, Scotland. They had 8 children. Their daughter, Jane , my 2x great grandma,moved to Ontario in 1828. Her brother Alexander, moved to Baltimore that same year. Any of the FORBES researchers on this forum seem to have had much earlier emmigrations to the USA and don't seem to match up with my line.Do any of mine match up with yours?
