Concerning Forbes books - is anyone near the Allen County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, IN? Their catalog is on-line and they have 26 books on or relating to Forbes families. The book specifically mentioned, House of Forbes by the Taylors, is there - in fact they have two copies. I doubt that they ever lend them out to other libraries, but since they have two copies, it might be worth asking if they would lend one to your library for use in your library only. Have your library ask them - the worst they can say is no. I get there occasionally (to the Ft. Wayne library), but it's a two hour drive each way and I won't be going for awhile. If you are anywhere near there, it's WELL worth the trip. Good luck! Nan
