    3. Dear John I noiticed you speak of your FORBES data base. I cannot get any further back than the marriage of Alexander Forbes and Christian Brown in Flisk, Fife, Scotland in 1753. I have been unable to determine Alexander's parentage. I've also reached a dead end in tracing my great great grandmother's brother, another Alexander Forbes, who emmigrated to Baltimore, Maryland around 1828. Apparently he married a woman there who already had 2 children. They had 2 more of their own. A daughter married a Mc Candlish, in Baltimore, and a son moved west and was never heard from again. If you find anything to help me I'd appreciate it.
