Jim: I have a Forbes line that goes to Rockbridge Co., VA. Our first definite is Augustus (Angus) T. Forbes b c1821. He m Angeline Bennington in 1846. We are trying to put the puzzle together backwards. One of our cousins said that she thinks his middle name was possibly Taylor since that name showed up in the Allegheny Co. ones.
