Dear List Does anyone own "House of Forbes" by Tayler and could do a look-up for me? My Forbes appear to be in Fife, Scotland, from the early 1700's on. I can't make the connection to earlier generations-most of whom appear to be in the Aberdeen area or west in the interior. Could you look to see if there's a mention of the Fife Forbes? I don't want to buy the book only to find it's all about " the other"Forbes or even the Forbes in the USA!!
