Hi all, I am looking for someone who might have any info on my ggg grandfather, John Jacob Forbes. I have found his burial place in Pease Cemetery, Pompey, New York and I found the baptismal records of him and his wife, Lydia (Sheridan) at the First Baptist Church in Pompey. This covers a 10 year period between 1834 and 1844. Is there anyone who might know of this line and be able to help me get back a little further? Or perhaps, someone who could help expand my knowledge of John Jacob? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, John Jacob Forbes was born on 7-23-1797 and died on 9-23-1844. I believe his father was Jacob John Forbes, but I have found nothing of substance to back that up. Once again, thanks for any help, Ken Spangler forbesgen@ev1.net
