The state of Washington is directly above and borders British Columbia, Canada on the north, and Oregon on the south. California borders the state of Oregon on the south. The town of Seaside is along the northern coast of Oregon and a popular summer and year round resort town as it is only about and hour and a half drive from the major city of Portland, Oregon.
