I am researching my great grandfather James Forbes Taylor (1849-1902). I am hoping to identify parents, siblings or ancestry. I know from the New York State 1880 census that his father was from Scotland. I have a possible connection to my great grandfather. James  Taylor  married  Margaret  Forbes 1818  Grange, Scotland. I am hoping that someone on this list might have the Forbes/Taylor connection that might help me with my branch of the Taylor family.
