I am up against a brick wall in researching Edward Forbes who was born somewhere in Alabama in 1840. He was on the 1900 census of Van Zandt Co., Texas. The census states that his father was born in Ireland and his mother was born in Alabama. He was married to Sarah Waggoner. Sarah and her parents were all born in Alabama. Edward and Sarah's known children were: Ethel, Charlie, Louanna, Lela, and Ose. They were all born in Texas. If anyone could offer any information or any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
