I am new to the list so thought I should post some of my line. I have William Forbes b c1760. Wife unknown. His son Angus m Lucy Geer 11/5/1810 in Rockbridge Co. Their son Angus m Angeline Bennington 9/30/1846 in Rockbridge Co. (This is the way I've always been told.) I couldn'd find them in the 1850 Rockbridge Census so I started looking around and found them in Allegheny Co. living with a George Forbes age 53 and Nancy Forbes age 66. Now I wonder who these people are and how they are all related. Is anyone researching this family? Or if any of this rings a bell, please drop me a line. Thanks, Doris Snyder dvs1119@aol.com
