I would like to compare notes with anyone else out there researching Webbs from NY, circa late 1700's, or from Wisconsin, circa 1847 on. I only have direct line information, and hope to connect with a distant cousin. I do not yet know where they originated from. John Forbes, born in 1790's, living in Pompey, Onodaga, NY. Married Lydia Sheridan Children, all b NY: George b 4/1818, Jacob 1/1820, John 10/1821, Thomas 4/1824, Mary ~1829, Merrick 8/1838. John died in NY 1844; Lydia moved entire family to WI around 1847; John's brother, Nicholas (Lydia's brother-in-law) came along. Settled in Sheboygan and Winnebago Counties.
